Registration Policies

Cancellation, Refund & Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing to ASAEservice@asaecenter.org by March 13, 2020. A refund of all fees, minus a $150 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for requests postmarked after March 13, 2020.
ASAE regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. All requests for exceptions to the cancellation/refund policy must be submitted in writing by the registrant with appropriate documentation no later than April 24, 2020. Substitutions are gladly accepted! A transfer of your full registration to another individual is permitted prior to the conference by submitting a written request to ASAEservice@asaecenter.org. Onsite transfers must be accompanied by proof of the original confirmation letter. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Funds from this program cannot be transferred to another program. Badge sharing, splitting and reprints are strictly prohibited.

ASAE Registration Eligibility Policy

The 2020 Marketing, Membership & Communications Conference (MMCC) is designed for association, consultants, association management executives, and nonprofit marketing, membership, communication, and component relations professionals to gain knowledge, perspective, and insight into the communication issues facing the industry. A business partner/supplier company that has not purchased a booth on the trade show floor may register one (1) employee for the conference. Exceptions are made only for the ASAE Board of Directors, speakers, and council/committee members belonging to a council/committee that is meeting in conjunction with the Marketing, Membership & Communication Conference. This ensures a high buyer/seller ratio. No one under the age of 18 may enter the trade show floor at any time. 

Both of the Executive Leadership Workshops: Organizing your Communication Calendar to Engage Year-Round and Do You Know Me?: Building Group Identity Profiles for Member Recruitment and Retention, are open to all full-conference MMCC attendees.
The Women Executives Forum: #RepresentationMatters: The Power of Inclusive Marketing, is open to all and requires a separate registration fee; MMCC registration is not required.
No one under the age of 18 may enter the exhibit hall at any time.

Ineligible Registrations

All registrations are reviewed to ensure they meet ASAE eligibility policies. ASAE reserves the right to refuse or cancel all ineligible registrations at any time and shall not be held accountable for any outside fees associated with any cancellation. Please refer to the specific Eligibility Policy above.

Payment Policy

Forms received without payment will be returned unprocessed. Please print multiple copies of the registration form to register additional attendees (one form per attendee).

Special Offers/Discount Codes

Use of discount codes is only valid at the time of the initial purchase/registration. Refunds will not be authorized for existing registrations where the special offer was received after the initial purchase. Discount codes cannot be applied to already reduced/discounted registrations. Limit one (1) special offer/discount code per registration.

Earn CAE Credits

Earn up to 16 CAE credits

Attend the 2020 Marketing, Membership and Communications Conference and earn 9 credit hours toward certification or renewal of the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation.

Additional CAE credits can be earned by attending the following Executive Leadership Workshops:

  • Organizing Your Communication Calendar to Engage Year-Round (2 CAE credits)
  • Do You Know Me? Building Group Identity Profiles for Member Recruitment and Retention 3) per session (3 CAE credits)
  • Women Executives Forum: #RepresentationMatters: The Power of Inclusive Marketing (2 CAE credits)

Special Accommodations

If you require special accommodations (dietary, mobility, etc.) to fully participate, please note this in your registration or email a written description of your needs to registration@asaecenter.org.

Consent Clause

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, ASAE meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities by ASAE and other third parties, including but not limited the venue, the host city, and the host CVB. Your registration may include technology that monitors your activities throughout the meeting, such as session attendance and booths visited.

Confirmation

If you register online, you will immediately receive an electronic confirmation of your registration from registration@asaecenter.org. (Please note: this is an HTML-coded email and you may need to save our email to your Safe Senders list.) If you emailed or mailed in your registration form and have not received a confirmation within 10 business days, please contact the Member Services Center at ASAEService@asaecenter.org.

Official Attendee Roster

Beginning approximately six weeks prior to the conference, you will be able to find a live attendee roster on the conference website under the Networking & Events tab, listing all registrants who have opted-in.
