Using the Right Data Sets for Membership Recruitment Campaigns

Solution Center hub:

Membership Recruitment

Client participant:

Kate Redding, AAO-HNS

Additional Details:

While associations may have mastered the art of recording data, they are still often finding their way when it comes to activating on that data. While fully capable of sifting through membership application and registration forms, associations now need to centralize their data and build the right narrative. Without a narrative, it’s easy to get lost in the tactical and executional details of campaigns. How else will you know what elements to use to build the right journey that results in the desired goal? Join us as we discuss how the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) zeroed in on data critical to build a robust membership recruitment campaign.

Simple Conversation Starters for Deeper Member Engagement with PropFuel

Solution Center hub:

Communications

Client participant:

Diane Scheuring, HPNA

Additional Details:

Do you find that you’re guessing what your members need? Or are you struggling to understand why they do the things they do, or don’t do?

Instead of guessing, what if you simply started a conversation with them?

Conversational engagement draws in members by involving them in a two-way dialogue – different from the one directional broadcast emails that send members into a dead end. By engaging in conversations over email, associations can ask questions to better understand member needs, capture new information from the Voice of the Member and act on needs in real time.

Sometimes, the simplest question is the answer!

Join us live for a PivotFest Conversation to:
• Explore the concept of conversational engagement
• Understand which questions to ask when engaging members in 5 campaigns: member acquisition, onboarding, needs, event engagement, renewals/lapsed member
• See how PropFuel association, Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, is incorporating questions in their conversational engagement campaigns

Building a sustainable virtual awards experience

Solution Center hub:

Marketing & Branding

Client participant:

Karen Horting, Society of Women Engineers

Additional Details:

The David James Group partnered with the Society of Women Engineers to tackle the challenge of generating exposure and attention for SWE's 2020 award recipients during COVID since an in-person banquet was out of the picture. The solution? We built an all-new virtual experience that lifted up award recipients and facilitated outstanding interaction among the recipients and the STEM community (including thousands of shared kudos). Our new virtual awards hall also proved popular among SWE sponsors and has opened the door to new non-dues revenue opportunities in the post-covid era. What started out of a need to pivot has now evolved into an exciting new avenue for community recognition that we expect to continue to employ.
